The Infested Morass

The Infested Morass is a system-agnostic microsetting for tabletop games. This project is currently itchfunding for #ZiMo24, and the plan is to make a 32 page fully illustrated zine to be printed at home in color or black and white. By supporting this project right now you'll get access to an early draft and the current sketches, future updates, and the full product as soon as it's finished!

Planned Contents:

• An A2-sized map of the swamp, divided into eight A5 sections in the zine
• An illustrated bestiary with 36 monsters and 6 factions
• A monster/chimera generator to help creating new abominations
• Rules for cooking and eating monster parts to gain their powers
• A list of magical artifacts to be found among the crypts and castle

TLDR: This will be a microseting focused on hunting monsters, not treasure. You will plan incursions to hunt rare beasts, capture them alive or sell their valuable parts in the black market. All factions in this scenario  and their conflicts with each other revolve around this activity.
